There is a massive transition of consciousness happening.
Â
You can feel it.
Old systems are breaking down. Old ways of leading, working, consuming, and extracting are no longer sustainable. The world is hungry for something more authentic. More humane. Something rooted in truth.
And we need you at this moment more than ever.
We need you as a mission-driven leader, healer, coach, visionary, entrepreneur.
We need your voice, your wisdom, your perspective, your leadership.
Because every conversation you have with a client…
Every interaction with your team…
Every piece of work you create…
…is an opportunity to shift consciousness.
Your work is not just transactional. It is transmissional. It transmits values, safety, presence, possibility, and compassion.
You are building more than a career or business.
You are helping shape the collective consciousness of the future.. and, the nervous system of the next generation.
But here is the part no one likes to talk about:
You cannot do this work from depletion.
You cannot hold this level of impact while overworking, burning out, or constantly worrying about money.
You cannot create a more just, humane, and conscious world while your own body is stuck in survival.
This work requires resources.
It requires capacity.
It requires support.
And yes, this work requires money.
But, it also requires you being open to receiving money for your work.
That might sound obvious.
And yet, sweet friend, in my experience working with hundreds of brilliant, capable, deeply service-oriented women… money is often still charged, heavy, uncomfortable. Sometimes even painful.
For years, I sat with this question:
Why do so many smart, capable, mission-driven women still struggle with money?
I'll tell you what's not causing the problem:
It’s not a lack of intelligence.
It’s not a lack of effort.
It’s not a lack of strategy.
In fact, you're really good at working hard, so if hard work alone created wealth, you would already be wildly resourced.
The truth is:
The issue lives much deeper than strategy or work-ethic.
Yes, strategy matters, marketing matters, budgets matter.
But if your nervous system is still operating from fear, scarcity, or survival… then all those strategies just become another hamster wheel.
More pushing. More striving. More exhaustion.
The real issue is not what you’re doing.
The real issue is a shared, often unspoken, root-cause, known as
 Legacy Wounds
Legacy Wounding: The Deeper Root-Cause
A legacy wound is not something that started with you.
It is something you inherited.
It is a pattern of stress, fear, hyper-vigilance, or survival that has been passed down through generations - biologically, emotionally, and culturally.
We know through the science of epigenetics that trauma, chronic stress, and extreme survival conditions can change how genes are expressed, and those changes are passed down genetically.
So if your lineage experienced colonization, land theft, forced migration, enslavement, war, resource extraction, financial exploitation, political violence, or chronic poverty and instability…
…then it is very likely that your nervous system inherited a complex and distorted relationship with money and power.
To say it simply:
Your body learned that resources are not safe, stable, or guaranteed.
And your nervous system learned to adapt accordingly.
How Legacy Wounds Show Up Today
Today, these wounds often look like:
- You undercharge because staying small feels safer and more acceptable.
- You overwork because you've tied your sense of worth with being productive, and somewhere inside rest still feels undeserved.
- You struggle to receive support because you don't want to appear needy or be a burden.
- You fear being fully visible or successful because visibility has historically meant danger.
- You feel conflicted about wealth - worried it will separate you from your community or change who you are.
- You feel selfish for wanting more, instead of seeing how more resources would allow you to serve more sustainably.
And I want to say this very clearly:
These are not character flaws.
They are intelligent survival strategies.
They helped someone in your lineage survive.
But they are now limiting your capacity to thrive.
Here’s What Most People Don’t Talk About:
Your ancestors were not “bad with money.”
Long before colonization, extraction, and imposed scarcity economies, many Indigenous and ancient cultures across the globe had sophisticated systems of trade, reciprocity, stewardship, and resource distribution.
They understood sustainability, collective care, long-term stewardship, and being in right-relationship with the land, money, and power.
This wisdom lives in your DNA. It has simply been buried under generations of survival.
This work is not about becoming someone new.
It’s about remembering who you come from.
A New Relationship With Money, Power, and Capacity
What we are being asked to create now is a sacred, healed relationship with money and power.
Not extraction.
Not self-abandonment.
Not power-over.
Not hustle.
But money as capacity for good, for positive impact for circulation and support.
And, power as integrity and stewardship used to sustain life and mission
Because when you are truly resourced:
- You make better decisions
- You lead with more clarity
- You build things that last
- You stop burning out
- You stop betraying yourself to keep going
- You become an example of what's possible for the generations that come after you.
And your impact multiplies.

This Is the Work of Resourced Wealth
Resourced Wealth is a healing-centered approach to money, power, and capacity for women of color leaders and entrepreneurs ready to steward real wealth.
It's a six-week graduate-level immersion and community where we heal the root causes of women’s capacity constraints: Money. Power. Receiving.
This is not just intellectual or theoretical learning.
This is trauma-informed, nervous-system level, embodied, ancestral, psychological, and somatic healing work.
A Closer Look at the Curriculum of Resourced Wealth
Each module includes:
- Teaching: Deep, nuanced understanding of the root causes of money stress, scarcity, and over-responsibility, and what’s actually happening in your brain, body, and nervous system. This isn’t surface-level mindset work; it’s education that brings clarity, context, and compassion to patterns that once felt personal or confusing.
- Healing: Signature healing frameworks that integrate somatic practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), nervous system regulation, and ancestral healing. These processes help you gently clear what’s been held in your body and lineage that's been keeping you stuck, and liberate you to expand your capacity to receive, lead, and create meaningful impact.
- Community: This work is held in community - on purpose. Each week, we meet together in an intimate cohort. Because healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when you are seen, witnessed, and met in a space that feels safe, grounded, and human. In community, your nervous system gets to co-regulate, softening patterns of hyper-independence, over-functioning, and “doing it all alone.” You realize you’re not broken, behind, or failing, you were simply responding to systems and stories that were never meant to be carried alone.
Part 1
Week 1 - Week 2:Â
Money: Legacy Wounding & Financial Trauma
We explore the deeper, often invisible roots of your relationship with money. You’ll begin to understand how history, ancestral experiences, and even epigenetics have shaped the way your nervous system responds to resources, safety, and stability. Most importantly, you’ll begin the process of gently unwinding inherited fear, contraction, and over-responsibility so your system can start to experience money and wealth not as a threat, but as support.
Part 2Â
Week 2 - Week 3:Â
Power: Being in Right Relationship With Power
Here we heal our relationship with power itself. So many women (especially women of color) have learned to either fear power, avoid it, or contort themselves around it because of histories of domination, punishment, and misuse. We’ll explore where these fears come from and how the legacy of “power-over” systems still lives in our bodies, leadership styles, and decision-making. From there, we begin to reclaim a different kind of power: sacred, grounded, embodied power that is rooted in integrity rather than force.Â
Part 3
Week 5 - Week 6:
Receiving: Becoming a Wide Open Receiver
In part 3, we focus on one of the most overlooked, and most transformational, capacities: the ability to receive.
Many high-functioning, service-oriented women are great at giving, but deeply uncomfortable receiving. We’ll explore what it actually means to receive, not just intellectually, but in your body and nervous system. And why so many of us have inherited collective and cultural trauma around being receiving. You’ll expand your system’s capacity to receive money, rest, support, recognition, and ease without guilt or self-sabotage.
We culminate with a Graduation Celebration centered around Integration, Reclamation, and Forward Stewardship.
This is not mindset work.
This is deep, inner capacity work.

Meet Your Facilitator:
Hi, I'm Dr. Vanessa CalderĂłn.
I am a first-generation Latina, the daughter of a Mexican mother and a Salvadoran father, and like many children of immigrants, I grew up inside a story shaped by sacrifice, resilience, and survival.
My parents carried dreams across borders. They also carried fear, instability, and the constant pressure of having to make it in a world that was not built for them. Like so many families of the global majority, my lineage holds deep stories of financial trauma, uncertainty, and having to work twice as hard for half as much. I didn’t have language for it then, but I now understand: I inherited not just their strength, I also inherited their legacy wounds.
Â
I graduated from UCLA and Harvard, and became a trauma physician working in the Emergency Department. I spent more than twenty years in leadership roles and business development. From the outside, my life looked like success. I had the credentials. The titles. The responsibility. The impact.
And yet, inside my own body, I was still living by many of the same invisible rules I see in so many of the women I now serve: work harder, carry more, don’t need too much, don’t take up too much space, don’t rest until everything is done.
I also come from a long line of ancestral healers. I've apprenticed in indigenous healing practices, sitting alongside Mexican and Maya healers and shamans. I practiced ways of remembering and reconnecting with the body and the earth, remembering the psyche and the spirit, in ways Western systems often forget.
It was through this weaving of science and spirit, medicine and ancestral wisdom, that I began to see something clearly:
The patterns I was struggling with around work, money, responsibility, and rest were not personal failures. They were inherited survival strategies.
My ancestral lineage, like so many, carries real financial and survival trauma. And those stories didn’t just live in my history, they lived in my nervous system, my ambition, my relationship with rest, and my relationship with receiving.
So I did the work. Not just in my mind, but in my body. In my nervous system. In my lineage.
I learned how to unwind the survival patterns. How to build capacity without burning myself out. How to be in right relationship with money and power. How to receive without guilt. How to let success be something that sustains me instead of something that costs me.
Along the way, I became a student of this work in the deepest sense, studying trauma, nervous system regulation, leadership psychology, and ancestral healing, and translating it into evidence-based programs and frameworks that I’ve taught, implemented, and published. This work has been shaped not only by my personal healing, but by years of clinical practice, leadership experience, and the hundreds of leaders I’ve supported through this same process.
Today, I help mission-driven leaders, healers, and entrepreneurs do the same.
I help them build lives, careers, and businesses that create real impact without self-abandonment.
I don’t teach this from theory. I teach it from a deeply lived and embodied knowing.
And I will walk this path with you the same way I’ve walked it myself: with compassion, depth, and reverence for the wisdom your body and your lineage already hold.
Resourced Wealth is an Invitation
An invitation to:
Stop surviving.
Stop carrying everything alone.
Stop building your life’s work from a depleted nervous system.
And to start:
Building wealth the way your ancestors once knew how, in right relationship, in integrity, and in service to your impact, your life and your lineage.

We start Friday, February 27th.
